He accused Washington of dismissing the “LOI HELP/HOPE” project, a key proposal aimed at addressing Haiti’s challenges, while alleging that Santo Domingo, under Abinader’s leadership, obstructed efforts to resolve ongoing bilateral tensions.
These statements come amid widespread criticism of Jean-Baptiste’s leadership, which many describe as lacking vision, initiative, and tangible results. His tenure has seen little progress in enhancing Haiti’s international reputation or strengthening its regional alliances.
