The Prime Minister in tears for the Dominican Republic, but unable to recognize the gravity of the national situation

Date:

Recently, a shocking video circulated, showing gang leaders roaming freely through the streets of Mirebalais. This spectacle raises crucial questions about the competence and morality of our leaders.

The Prime Minister, the Council of Ministers and the heads of the Haitian National Police (PNH) seem to have failed to protect the population, leaving their integrity in doubt.

They are complicit in a system that is corrupting our society.

Inaction in the face of the tragedies in Mirebalais contrasts with the compassion expressed by the Prime Minister for the victims of an incident in the Dominican Republic.

This choice to prioritize an event abroad to the detriment of our people is an insult.

It’s time to demand change and hold our leaders to account.

Our country deserves better than leaders indifferent to the suffering of its people.
