Haitian TikTokeur “Jones Collection” arrested after swindling woman out of $387,000

Date:

Dominique Jones, better known as “Jones Collection” on TikTok, had established an image as a successful young entrepreneur. With his videos featuring luxurious outfits, high-end sneakers and generous gifts sent to other designers, he embodied the dream of dazzling success. However, behind this façade lay a very different reality._

On May 2, 2025, Jones, aged 24, was arrested in Greenvale, New York, in the company of Jean Saint Fort, 22, from Chelsea, Massachusetts. According to Nassau County police, the two men are accused of orchestrating a phone scam targeting a Port Washington resident. Posing as representatives of Chase Bank’s fraud department, they allegedly convinced the victim to withdraw large sums of money in response to alleged “suspicious activity” on his account. In all, the woman allegedly handed over $387,000 in several withdrawals.

When the police intervened, Jones allegedly tried to flee in a Jeep Compass, hitting a police vehicle and a parked SUV. Once arrested, a search of his vehicle revealed a loaded 9 mm handgun and several stolen credit cards.

Jones faces several charges, including attempted grand theft, criminal possession of a weapon, possession of stolen property, resisting arrest and criminal mischief. Saint Fort is also charged with attempted grand theft and criminal possession of a weapon. The two men were charged on May 8 at Hempstead District Court.
