Prominent Haitian Host Carel Pedre Arrested in Florida on Domestic Violence Charges

Carel Pedre, the well-known Haitian journalist and media personality, was arrested on Saturday by authorities in Broward County, Florida, in connection with a domestic violence case. The arrest was carried out by the Tamarac Police Department, according to online judicial records.

The news, initially circulating as rumors and speculation on social media, has been corroborated by official entries in the Broward County Clerk of Courts database. The case file includes the suspect’s full identification, the date of the arrest, and a booking number, providing official confirmation of the incident.

According to preliminary information released by law enforcement, Mr. Pedre was taken into custody as part of an ongoing investigation. As of Sunday, formal charges have not yet been adjudicated in court, and no conviction has been entered.
