Haiti, a hell for its people!

It’s sickening and revolting to see how Haiti has become a cancer for its sons and daughters. Haiti, a land where solidarity once reigned. The ancestors lived as brothers and sisters. This had driven theḿ to fight for their independence. Today, the first Black Republic is torn apart, divided, trivialized, manipulated, mistreated by political elites for lack of competence and ability. Men who prove by their muteness their disinterest in saving this country from this infernal crossroads.

The situation is lamentable and more complicated. It’s frustrating and indignant to see men who serve their country freeze in their own blood. There was carnage in an operation carried out by the men of the National Police in Port-au-Prince on Friday morning. Some of them narrowly escaped, while others, unfortunately, have left for the eternal East.

Armored vehicles set on fire, police officers brutally gunned down and videos circulating on the web of heavily armed men overpowering PNH officers have left Internet users speechless. The latter have not hesitated to describe the Director General of the National Police as incompetent and irresponsible.

For ages, outlaws have been imposing their law in Port-au-Prince, especially in the 3rd district of Port-au-Prince. Heavily armed with ammunition and war materiel, where did they find these weapons? A question that haunts the mind when analyzing the price to be paid to buy a weapon and equipment.

Shocking revelations suggest that the gangs are under the thumb of the powers that be. Politicians deplore the State’s passivity in the face of the gangsters, and some refer to the dismissal of the Minister of Justice and Public Security, Me Lucmane Delille. According to many, his dismissal is proof that the government controls everything. Delille said he was ready to thwart the parade of armed men in the streets of Port-au-Prince, led by the coalition of gangs known as G9 and allies, controlled by the government in power. For his part, the former head of legal affairs for the presidency, Me Reynold Georges, revealed some startling information.

In recent weeks, the southern entrance to the capital has become impassable. Armed gangs are regaining possession. Heavy gunfire is heard throughout in several places in this busy area of the capital. The PNH has carried out́ several operations that have ended in abject failure. Nothing effective that would bring relief to the inhabitants of these areas. They are still masters and lords, controlling as they see fit. These heavily armed men have their own way of deciding on the lives of citizens. They are superpowers, dominating even the highest ranks of the supreme state. The population lives in constant, daily fear, in anguish, hoping one day for a new Haiti. They are desperate. The State has failed in its mission. No one has been spared. Life no longer matters as it once did. Haitian journalist Fanel Delva describes “Port-au-Prince as the cemetery of the walking dead”.

Haitians are dying. Bandits continue to sow terror and rule. But Jovenel Moïse is only concerned with organizing elections.
