Actress, businesswoman, Blondedy is full of ambitions. She was desperate for another career. Surprisingly, producer J-Beatz put her in the spotlight with the track “Renmen m’ renmen’w”.

It was a difficult start, as her voice wasn’t up to scratch. But she continues to believe in her dreams. As the old saying goes, “De l’audace toujours de l’audace encore de l’audace” (“Boldness, always boldness, always boldness”), Blondedy practices this quote every day, so that she is accepted in the Haitian music world.

She has been the object of criticism from many quarters. Discouraging comments on the one hand, and welcome advice on the other, helped propel her further into the music world.

She’s not a great singer, she doesn’t have the voice of an angel, and she never misses an opportunity to remind her audience that she’s working hard on improving her voice.

However, Blondedy manages to draw a crowd and wants to win the hearts of music lovers despite these shortcomings. Her latest rendition of “Pou ou”, a track well received by her fans.

In June, she announced her new baby, “Nouveau Départ”, whose release date has yet to be announced. Love, life and hope are among the subjects dealt with in this opus.

“This album means a lot to me. Which means, I’m starting a new life, whether it’s business, relationships and in my music career. Today, everything has a new beginning for me,” she declared.

“This is my brand new album. I’ve been lucky enough to work with people I like. I’m very proud and happy. All music lovers and fans will find themselves through this opus,” says Blondedy in an interview with Hebdo24.

Why do you always link each project to a buzz?

“I never link music with buzz. But it’s the buzz that follows me. Everything I touch turns into buzz. So I let the current flow and I don’t mind.

And despite everything, Blondedy wants to sing to satisfy all strata of Haitian society, and why not abroad? Many other artists will be taking part in this new project, including D-Perfect.
