The assassination of Jovenel Moïse was the work of his security guards, according to Steeven Benoit

Information concerning the alleged assassins of former President Jovenel Moïse is not unanimous. According to the former Senator of the Republic, Steeven Benoit, Jovenel Moïse was assassinated by certain members of his security team.

While the state authorities, in particular the Prime Minister’s Office, see this as an act perpetrated by foreign mercenaries, some politicians disagree.

Early on Friday, July 09, Senator Steeven Benoit declared on Radio Magik 9 that Haiti’s 58th president had been cowardly assassinated by his close security team, contrary to what the authorities claim to be in control of the situation.

It didn’t take long for the news to hit the web. It is up to the Direction Centrale de la Police Judiciaire (DCPJ) to shed light on this heinous act which took place in the country on the night of July 6-7. The Fondasyon Je Klere (FJKL), in its report on the assassination of the President, published this Friday morning, is already concerned by such an exhortation.
