Reconnecting Haitian families separated by adoption is Voie D’Espoir’s mission. At the initiative of Michel Joseph, several hundred parents took part in a census day organized at Radio Télévision Caraibes on Saturday, March 7, 2021.
After more than twenty reports that have helped reunite families, Michel Joseph wants to continue producing hope by launching his organization, “Voie d’espoir”.
Indeed, between emotion and testimony, the 19-20 presenter takes pleasure in being an artist of these encounters that bring so much happiness.
More than 700 families are registered in the organization’s database, in the hope of finding their offspring, given up for adoption.
Some fifty volunteers were on hand for this first-ever event.
There is no charge to the biological parents, other than the information needed to find their children. Tearful as they are recorded, the testimonies are one more poignant than the next.
A great day out. Michel Joseph, the main instigator of the project, is delighted to have been able to realize a dream he has had for years, with the help of volunteers and sponsors.
Launched on September 20, 2020 on social networks, Voie d’espoir is now a space for exchange, listening and support for adoptees and their biological parents.
